Fitness: Calories Burned During HouseworkAfter spending a good amount cleaning and organizing my house over the past few weekends, I realized that housework can add up to calories burned. Here I detail how many calories you can burn with basic housework and my plan for incorporating it into your life on a daily basis. It’s easy to see how every little thing can add up for greater health.

What I discuss:

  • What kind of activities around the house count as exercise
  • How many calories you can burn while folding laundry
  • My plan to incorporate daily housework for more fitness

What kind of housework can you do every day to add some extra fitness into your life?

Fitness: Bar Method ReviewI went to try out the Bar Method (a ballet-style class focused on strength & flexibility) in SoHo, New York. Check out my review of the class, what I thought worked well, where I felt the most “work” being done, the parts I didn’t like and whether I would go back again–or would recommend it for you.

What I discuss:

  • What the Bar Method ballet-style class entails
  • The part of my body that I worked out the most
  • My review of the class, including the big mistake

Have you ever tried the Bar Method class or a ballet-style class like it? What did you think?
